Company lookup by domain: registry ID, VAT, ATS, tenders

Company ID roadmap: lookup by register ID and VAT
Money in European B2B moves by register and VAT number, so the next step is a look-up by those keys. Where each one stands:

For developers and AI agents
The same card is GET /v1/companies/{domain} in the API and a tool on the MCP server. Other lookups: which ATS a company uses, is it hiring, tender winners.
Questions
Can I look up a company by its website?
Yes, free and without sign-up: type the domain (zalando.com) and you get its card with open jobs, the ATS, public contracts won, posted pay, Shopify store and the change events of the last 90 days, where we hold them.
Can I look up a company by VAT number or registry ID?
Not yet in the public tool or API. We load the official registers of Norway, Finland and France and pair register IDs and VAT numbers with company websites internally; a public look-up by ID is on the Company ID roadmap. For a VAT check today, use the EU VIES service.
Which countries are covered?
Job boards and company pages cover companies worldwide with a public careers board; public contracts cover the EU (TED), the UK (Find a Tender) and national portals; register data covers Norway, Finland and France so far.
Is there an API?
Yes: GET /v1/companies/{domain} returns the same profile as JSON, without a key up to 300 calls a day per IP. A free key gives 1,000 calls a month; the MCP server exposes it to AI agents.
Is there personal data in a lookup?
No. Company-level data only: no names, emails or phone numbers of people. Sole traders are left out of register and tender data.
