What we observe in job ads

Of 63,921 open job ads that 5,241 employers hiring in Germany publish on their own career sites, 1,497 (2%) state a salary or pay range; 420 employers (8%) state pay on at least one ad.

Sample caveat: ads on employers' own career sites (the applicant tracking systems we read daily), staffing agencies left out; job boards and agency ads are not in it, so this is not a national rate. Pay counts when the ad states a minimum or maximum in a field the job board publishes; pay written only in the ad text is not counted. Shares move as we add employers.
